Description
Developed by William Radler, the breeder of the the ever-popular Knock Out Roses, Cloud 10 is a vigorous climbing rose with the same high resistance to black spot and the classic looks of English roses. Abundant clusters of large, pure white, very full fragrant flowers with a buttery yellow center come heavy in spring and then rebloom through the season. Glossy, deep green foliage serves as an excellent backdrop to the flowers, which by the way don’t require deadheading. This one does great as far north as USDA Zone 5 and is especially suited for warmer climates in the South where black spot can be a problem on many other roses. An exceptionally healthy rose is excellent for use on trellises, walls, fences and rails.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 7 to 8 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide, the Cloud 10 Climbing Rose can be grown as a large mounding shrub or a climber on walls, trellises, walls, fences and rails. A fine addition to cottage gardens, white theme gardens and as a background in rose gardens.
Growing Preferences
The Cloud 10 Climbing Rose is exceptionally easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average or above average fertility and full sun to part shade. As with all other roses, morning sun is a must to dry dew from the leaves but some afternoon shade or filtered sun is okay. Flowering will be best if the plant receives at least 6 hours of direct sun during the day. Has good drought tolerance when established and high disease resistance. Prune after flowering if desired.

We have done extensive reworking of the landscaping in our front courtyard, and one thing added this spring was a sturdy iron trellis in front of one wall. We wanted a climbing white rose and found this one. It was SOOO dark green and healthy when it arrived. A couple of the canes are now already halfway up the trellis and it’s white blooms are heavenly!! I had no idea it would grow so quickly and put out so many tall canes! Wilson Bros. perfection again!!————————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy your purchase for years to come! Thanks for the kind words and wonderful review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
I received this specimen over a week ago. She arrived very well packed, but it seems that it spent too long inside the box, you could see how the lack of light was already affecting the foliage. But she was not damaged in any way and has kept her container and soil in place. After exposing her to the sun and regular watering she recovered beautifully and is full of blooms! This rose plant is showing great strength and potential to be a show stopper once planted in a permanent spot. Very pleased with this purchase.—————————————————Thanks for the photo. These were bought to replace Jasmines that died in a freeze. They look lovely and are already in bloom. Looking forward to them getting a little bigger to train them onto their trellises.
