Bring that beautiful tropical look to the garden with Waikiki Sunset Lysimachia, a low and spreading perennial plant in the same family and Creeping Jenny but this one sports variegated foliage and flowers. The multicolor leaves are shades of yellow, chartreuse and green with copper tinted new growth. Abundant clusters of cup-shaped, lightly scented, brilliant yellow flowers with cherry-red eyes that bloom continuously throughout spring and summer. Excellent as a border in garden beds and an accent and spiller plant in containers.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Because it’s so colorful, quickly fills a space, and is low maintenance, we use Waikiki Sunset Lysimachia extensively in our gardens as a groundcover, border and spiller over walls. It’s also ideal for planting in pots or hanging baskets, containers and window boxes, where it spills over the edges. A fine addition to sun gardens, yellow theme gardens, cottage gardens and Asian theme gardens.
Suggested Spacing: 12 inches apart for mass plantings
